Canons Powershot

Canon Australia has recently added two new cameras to its PowerShot range - the PowerShot A510 and the PowerShot A520. The 3.2 megapixel PowerShot A510 has Canon's intuitive DiG!C Image Processor - a single chip that ensures superb detail in every photo, together with brilliant colour.
DiG!C also enhances camera performance, increasing camera responsiveness, reducing start-up time and contributing to longer battery life. Other features include a 4x optical zoom lens, movie recording and playback with sound, a Print/Share button, 20 programmed shooting modes, manual shooting options including Aperture and Shutter Priority modes, Fast Shutter mode, Canon's Stitch Assist mode for creating seamless panoramic photos, and PictBridge capability. The PowerShot A510 sells for $399. The 4 megapixel PowerShot A520 shoots images suitable for printing in a range of sizes, from the standard 6x4in postcard size right up to A3. Other features include a 4x zoom lens, Canon DiG!C Image Processor, 20 programmed shooting modes, Fast Shutter mode, Print/Share button, movie recording and playback for up to three minutes with sound, and manual shooting options including Aperture and Shutter Priority modes. The PowerShot A520 retails for $499.
