best supporting actress in the 2002 film Chicago. Zeta-Jones was first
a hit on both sides of the Atlantic as the love interest of Antonio
Banderas in the 1998 movie The Mask of Zorro. The expert thief opposite
Sean Connery in the heist movie Entrapment, and the hard-edged potion
kingpin's wife in Traffic. She and co-star Renee Zellweger both received
Oscar nominations for Chicago. Her profile was boosted by her movie-star
romance with actor Michael Douglas. The two were married in 2000, not
long after completing filming on Traffic.
